Office Manager, Student Life Disability Services

Reporting to the Director of Student Life Disability Services, this position functions as a key operational leader within the SLDS central office. The Office Manager coordinates daily office workflows, oversees staffing coverage, manages data and records processes, supports procurement and resource oversight, and ensures continuity of front‑line service delivery. The role supervises up to 20 student employees and one full‑time Program Assistant and is expected to provide direct front‑desk service coverage when staffing cannot otherwise be secured. Work is performed under limited supervision within established university policies and procedures. This position will work on site 100% of the time.

Qualifications

Required: High School diploma or GED. A minimum of two (2) years of relevant administrative or operational experience. Ability to exercise independent judgment, manage confidential information, coordinate complex administrative processes, and apply university policies and procedures; experience supervising staff, demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office products; Successful completion of a background check.

Desired: Associate Degree or higher in a relevant field or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Four (4) to six (6) years of relevant experience. Experience working in a college or university setting; demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Excel for data cleaning and reporting; experience supervising student employees and/or support staff; experience with records retention requirements; experience with procurement, budget tracking, and asset management; strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to work effectively with individuals with disabilities and maintain a high level of professionalism and discretion.

Additional Information:

Hiring range is $21.35 - $27.88/hr. The offer for this position will fall within this range based on internal equity, the unit’s available budget, and the selected candidate’s qualifications.
