We are looking for an Industry Specialist to join our Industry team as an Industrial & Waste Senior Sales Representative working within the Caterpillar’s Customer Solutions Core Regions Division. This role will have responsibility for sales in the Industrial, Forestry & Waste Industries within the ANZ region.

What You Will Do:

Designing and assisting dealers on the forecast, sales strategy planning, and sales techniques; supporting the rollout of new products.

  • Performing regular sales performance reviews with dealers and ensuring implementation of corrective actions where needed.

  • Acting within the business process guidance on review and approval for variance programs and commercial actions.

  • Presenting products or services for stakeholders, answering any customer questions, and addressing their needs.

Skills You Have:

  • Extensive experience in Communications skills, Relationship management and Customer focus - Fosters strong customer relationships via delivery on commitments, open communication, and on-going feedback/improvement.

  • Extensive experience in Value selling: Ability to provide overall product/service 'value' and to differentiate support offerings that address clearly understood customer needs

  • Extensive experience in Decision Making and Critical thinking - Ability to accurately analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment.

  • Working knowledge of the industry trends and regulatory environment and business development techniques

  • Ability to engage and negotiate with others to achieve win-win solutions

What will Put you Ahead:

  • University degree

  • 7+ yrs experience with progressively growing responsibilities in previous commercial roles involving dealer and/or customer facing interactions

  • Direct customer interaction

  • Demonstrated ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

  • Knowledge of Caterpillar products and services

  • Strong drive and organizational capabilities

  • Experience working in an international environment and in a matrix environment

Additional Information:

  • Must be able to travel up to 40% (Mostly domestic)

  • Domestic relocation will be considered.

  • No sponsorship / no international relocation will be supported

  • This role requires 5 days working in office

About Customer Solutions Core Regions Division

The Customer Solutions Core Regions Division is committed to solving customer challenges that extend beyond purchasing machines and parts. This team, alongside dealers, will engage more closely with customers, to create, customize and adapt solutions to meet their needs by leveraging the extensive range of offerings available today across products and services, digital and technology, rental and used, and financing. The division will be regionally on the unique needs of customers in core regions, focused on Americas North, Europe, Japan, Australia and New Zealand.
