Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Full Stack Java Developer with expertise in the Identity and Access Management (IAM) space to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and specifying information system solutions, offering technical direction, and contributing to the development of new and existing applications. Your mission will be to tackle a spectrum of challenges, from basic problem-solving to complex enhancements.
As a principal application designer, you will leverage your analytical and technical acumen, utilizing the latest technology and tools to evaluate client requirements and streamline processes. Your solutions will be characterized by their technological robustness and effectiveness.
Additionally, you will be engaged in day-to-day support activities and special projects, making a significant impact on our organization. Your experience and leadership will be instrumental in guiding and supervising less experienced team members. Maintain open communication with the principal application’s vendor to troubleshoot OOTB functionality and devise custom solutions to meet business needs.
Review regulatory requirements and standards to ensure the application remains compliant with external governance control mechanisms.
Perform code reviews of development changes and share in the responsibility of maintaining strict version control.
Explore developmental opportunities, and make recommendations, for Test Automation within the application’s SDLC.
Collaborate with development and platform engineering teams to integrate the principal application with other company systems and applications.
Meet regularly with onshore and offshore resources to deliver on an iterative basis while maintaining working agreements constructed under an Agile methodology.
Minimum of an Associate’s degree and 5 years’ systems analysis/application development experience, or in lieu of a degree, a combined minimum of 7 years’ higher education and/or work experience, including a minimum of 5 years’ systems analysis/application development experience
Demonstrated programming experience with different object-oriented programing languages such as Java, C#, and Python
Experience with relational database programming
Experience in applying Agile software principles
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or Cybersecurity and 5 years’ application development experience
Strong experience with Java development
Strong experience with T-SQL development
Experience with PowerShell or Bash Shell
Good understanding of Identity Access Management (IAM)
