Overview :

We are looking for Principal SDET/Architect for our R& D team in Bangalore location.

 

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement scalable test automation frameworks and tools using industry-standard practices.
• Lead the development and execution of test automation strategies across the entire SDLC, including unit testing, integration testing, API testing, UI testing, and performance testing.
• Leverage your knowledge of K8s concepts (pods, deployments, services, etc.) to configure and manage the test environment.
• Participate in the selection and implementation of testing tools that integrate seamlessly with Kubernetes
• Assess and enhance the performance of the QA automation framework to guarantee high efficiency, effectiveness, and reliability of testing operations.
• Review code for testability and identify potential defects early in the development process.
• Stay up to date with the latest advancements in testing methodologies and tools.
• Drive the adoption of best practices in test automation within the organization.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback on technical design decisions.
• Mentor and guide junior SDETs, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
  
  Qualifications:
• Minimum of 12 years of experience in software development and testing, with a strong focus on automation.
• Expertise in test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cucumber).
• Experience with API automation tools (e.g., Postman, RestAssured ).
• Experience with performance testing tools (e. g., K6, JMeter).
• Hands on OOPS, programming/ coding exp in Python & Java (Mandatory)
• Good experience of scripting languages like Python, Shell Scripts, Java, Rust, JavaScript, Bash scripting and Linux
• Deep understanding of different test automation approaches (keyword-driven, Data-driven, BDD, hybrid)
• Sufficient knowledge of RDBMS – PostgreSQL
• Strong understanding of cloud-native principles and containerization technologies.
• In-depth knowledge of Kubernetes concepts, including deployments, services, networking, and security.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and their integration with testing processes within a K8s environment.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
  
  Desirable skills:
  An exposure of GenAI Technologies like Co-Pilot or similar models
