About the Role & Program:

Our Internship Program dives into the craft, technology, and operations behind our animated films while developing your skills and connecting you to industry mentors. You'll learn what it means to be a part of a collaborative team and how your unique talents can grow within our studio. Find yourself immersed in hands-on projects and learning guided by our artists, technologists, and production leaders. WDAS Marketing is responsible for the strategy and execution of marketing and communication plans to activate support cross-company for upcoming animated releases. We also design and implement marketing initiates and outreach in support of the WDAS brand within the animation industry. As our intern, you will also help with special projects related to the marketing and PR for our current and future releases.

What You Will Do:

• Assist with special projects tied to WDAS’s participation at D23
• Coordinate and execute Marketing and PR plans for the upcoming DVD release, WDAS Shorts Compilation
• Work on Marketing and PR initiatives for all films including tent-pole theatrical releases.
• Update department documents, develop talent confirmation letters and organize shared server folders.  
• Attend weekly team meetings, Integrated Planning meetings, company partner meetings and other meetings that are relevant to the work the intern will be doing.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• Proficient in Google Docs, Google Drive, Word, Excel, and Keynote
• Ability to multi-task and work proactively in a fast-paced work environment
• Great attitude and team player
• Strong interest in Marketing in the Entertainment/Movie Industry
• Communicates ideas effectively

Preferred Qualifications & Skills:

• Previous internship and/or work Experience in related industry
• Passion for Marketing and Disney

Education:

• Junior or Senior year preferred

Eligibility Requirements & Program Information:

• Be enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing a degree taking at least one class at time of application OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship. 
• Be at least 18 years of age
• Possess unrestricted work authorization
• Have not completed one year of continual employment on a Disney internship or Disney College Program

Additional Information:

• Approximate internship dates: June 1, 2026 – August 2026
• Able to have a consistent, reliable work schedule throughout the internship
• Fully available, 9am – 6 pm PST for the duration of the internship, 40 hours each week
• Able to provide own housing for the duration internship program in the Burbank, CA area
• Able to provide/have reliable transportation to/from work

The pay rate for this role in California is $22.50 per hour.
