Summary:
As an Application Lead, you will lead the effort to design, build, and configure applications, acting as the primary point of contact. You will be responsible for managing the team and ensuring successful project delivery. Your typical day will involve collaborating with multiple teams, making key decisions, and providing solutions to problems for your immediate team and across multiple teams.
Roles & Responsibilities:
1. Upgrading the Cohesity backup Clusters to the latest LTE versions.
2. Configuring backup Protection groups and Policies.
3. Implementing Replication and Disaster Recovery strategy.
4. Performing DR test.
5. Audit Reporting and backup Environment health and storage check reports.
6. Performing Image level restores, File restores and Full VM recovery.
7. Managing and creating AWS IAM user, IAM polices, S3 buckets.
8. Automating Cloud archive jobs to AWS S3 bucket via Cloud Formation template.
9. Performing Server Cloning and VM instant access restores.
10. Recovering data from AWS S3 infrequent access bucket, and Glacier targets
11. Providing training to new Resources on the backup environment.
12. Cohesity Cluster health checks and applying latest version patches.
13. Performing Server Disaster Recovery and BMR for high priority Production issues.
14. Automating reports and Backup BAU tasks wherever possible.
15. Coordinates problem analysis of software and hardware problems, finding the resolution of server and storage related software problems, administers backup procedures for servers; participates in software and hardware evaluation
Professional & Technical Skills:
• Must have excellent team working skills balanced with ability to work alone and a positive
attitude.
• Ability to quickly assimilate technical and non-technical information.
• Fluency in English is mandatory, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work cross-functionally in a global team environment.
• Be flexible in work hours to accommodate global teams and business needs
• Ability to work closely with DBAs, client teams and management ensuring that systems are
managed per established service level agreements.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal skills.
• Strong time management skills, problem solving and analytical skills.
• Supervise the team.
• Perform team management roles
• Due to the 24X7 operations of the business, must be able to work a flexible work schedule, may include nights, weekends, and holidays.
