The Sr. Payroll Associate, based in Philippines (BGC,) this will be the primary location for this position. This position would be part of a payroll team that consist of 7 payroll team members who prepare and process payroll for 6500+ U.S. employees in 25 states. This position will be responsible for working with Multi State tax filings, amendments, running payroll processing, as well as auditing payrolls. This position will work closely and collaboratively with payroll team members as well as other departments, including HR and Information Technologies. This position will be a hybrid schedule 3 days in office per week.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Suggest updates for Business Practice Processes as well as create and maintain the working process and procedure manual that adheres to IRS regulations.

Responsible to assist on various projects/research assigned throughout the year.

Responsible for related payroll support for the Kronos Timekeeping system (UKG) for small, assigned grouping of employees (historical edits, missed punches, Adding New Hires, correction, notifying managers on missed punches.)

Maintain Kronos payroll processes and procedures.

Reporting and maintain payroll team metrics.

Responsible/ Secondary back up for majority of year-end auditing, reviewing, and researching employee’s records for possible error, W2c adjustments, amendments and tax filings.

Responsible/ Secondary back up for running payroll processing and filings for biweekly on cycle and off cycle payrolls.

Required Qualification and Competencies:

Minimum of 5 year of US multistate payroll experience.

Experience with processing payroll using ADP Global View.

Highly organized with the ability to multitask.

Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Strong analytical and reconciliation skills.

Knowledge of tax regulations and requirements related to employee taxes and multi state tax regulations.

Strong Excel skills also the ability to work with MS Word, Kronos, SharePoint, Global View (ADP) and SAP (a plus).
