Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves leading the design, development, and configuration of software applications. This role requires taking ownership of projects and serving as the main liaison for all application-related activities. The position demands proactive engagement with various stakeholders to ensure that solutions are effectively tailored to meet project requirements. Throughout the day, the engineer coordinates efforts across teams, oversees implementation details, and ensures that the applications are aligned with organizational goals and client expectations. This role is dynamic and requires adaptability to evolving project needs and priorities.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements for application development.
- Ensure timely delivery of high-quality software solutions by managing tasks and priorities effectively.
- Mentor junior team members by sharing knowledge and best practices to foster professional growth.
- Continuously evaluate and improve existing applications to enhance performance and user experience.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Apache Spark.
- Experience with distributed computing frameworks and big data processing.
- Strong understanding of data processing pipelines and real-time data analytics.
- Familiarity with programming languages commonly used with Apache Spark such as Scala or Python.
- Ability to optimize and troubleshoot Spark applications for performance and scalability.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms and integration with big data tools.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 2 years of experience in Apache Spark.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
