JR130337 Vendor Operations Management Coordinator
This role is responsible for managing relationships with multiple vendors that support our clinics. It reports to the national director of clinical standardization within the clinical excellence and enablement portfolio. This team is focused on developing, implementing, and measuring standards, policies and procedures, and processes across all of our advanced primary care clinics and the staff that operate them.
Location: This position will work in a hybrid model (remote and office) with once a week from the nearest Elevance Health PulsePoint location. The Ideal candidate will live within 50 miles/1 hr. commute of one of our Elevance Health Open PulsePoint locations.
How will you make an impact:
Manages the day-to-day execution of vendor agreements to ensure compliance, monitor quality, and when necessary, develop corrective action plans. Manages smaller, less complex vendors.
Resolves issues with business and vendor.
Supports vendor management team in performing Readiness Assessments of vendors when a new vendor's product is rolled out or when an existing vendor's product is expanded or enhanced.
Manages Purchase Orders for each vendor to ensure timely payment of invoices.
Tracks and monitors vendor spends and generates spend reports as needed.
Maintains all vendor profiles.
Documents and maintains SOPs and process flows.
Tracks and monitors results of data file exchanges, billing files, and SLA reports.
Tracks industry and vendor-specific news and business updates.
Maintains SharePoint site for department.
Partners with IT regarding internal requirements and vendor interaction.
Creates, reviews and approves vendor access to company systems.
Reviews vendor reports and comments based on SOX control requirements.
May participate in fact-based negotiations of agreements and/or participate or lead cross-functional teams to implement vendor services.
Minimum requirements:
Requires a H.S. diploma or equivalent; 3 to 5 years of increasingly responsible professional level contract management, vendor management experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
Preferred Skills, Capabilities, and Experiences:
BS in business or other related major preferred.
Healthcare experience is preferred.
Vendor management software experience highly preferred.
Process improvement experience preferred.
