Senior Product Owner: Agentic AI Identity & Access Foundations

To be successful, you’ll combine sound judgement with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders, even when navigating diverse perspectives and priorities. 

The Role 

As Product Owner you will: 

• Own and manage the product backlog including refinement, prioritisation and analysis 

• Translate the vision into clear epics, user stories and acceptance criteria that guide delivery 

• Partner with engineering, security, risk, architecture and compliance teams to deliver secure and scalable identity solutions 

• Champion modern engineering and DevSecOps practices to support agile, high-quality delivery 

• Manage the product lifecycle from discovery through to scaled adoption, balancing delivery pace with quality and resilience 

• Build trusted relationships with stakeholders to align priorities and support decision-making 

About you 

You will bring: 

• Strong Product Owner experience across backlog management, prioritisation and stakeholder engagement 

• Exposure to AI concepts and modern engineering practices including cloud-native infrastructure, APIs, secure software development and identity frameworks such as SPIFFE/SPIRE 

• Familiarity with modern identity protocols including OAuth2, OIDC and SAML 

• Experience with enterprise identity platforms such as Microsoft Entra ID and Ping Identity, and exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS 

• A focus on security and controls, with experience working in regulated environments 

• Strong collaboration and communication skills with the ability to influence and engage diverse stakeholders 

• A calm, professional approach that helps you adapt to changing contexts and maintain focus on outcomes 

What you will need 

• Proven experience as a Product Owner in technology delivery teams, ideally in identity, security or AI domains 

• Strong knowledge of authentication and authorisation protocols such as OAuth2, OIDC and SAML, along with service identity frameworks like SPIFFE/SPIRE 

• Practical experience working with cloud platforms (AWS preferred) and enterprise identity providers (Microsoft Entra ID, Ping Identity) 

• Experience engaging with security, risk or compliance stakeholders 

• Strong working knowledge of agile delivery methods and backlog tools such as Jira 

• Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to simplify complex ideas 

• Bonus: experience in financial services or other highly regulated industries
