Job Description:
This position guides internal and external stakeholders and suppliers through the equipment planning process, coordinates with the applicable Category Manager, and makes equipment recommendations to the project team. Validates and ensures that the building is designed around the appropriate equipment (including medical, office, specialized case work, and Audio/Visual/Integration equipment, etc.).

Hours: 8:00am - 5:00pm
Essential Functions
- Serves as the corporate-wide subject matter expert related to medical, office, and AVI equipment requirements.
- Develops and manages a room by room medical and support equipment list, and equipment floor plans for new construction and renovation projects.
- Creates room by room equipment drawings using an architectural software solution.
- Attends schematic and design meetings to understand the scope of the projects, provides a preliminary equipment list, and provides initial equipment budget projections.
- Takes inventory of all existing equipment and assists in determining which equipment will be reused or sent to Asset Recovery.
- Compiles and maintains the list of new equipment that will be purchased.
- Leads equipment review meetings with the facility managers and team leads to ensure the equipment list is accurate for both design purposes and procurement.
- Provides the design team with a specification binder (cut book) to be used during design development.
- Coordinates and leads all equipment and supplier kick-off calls to coordinate detailed design and functionality requirements.
- Ensures equipment layout drawings are prepared and approved by the facility managers, project architect, and contractors.
- Develops a delivery schedule with the contractor and facility managers to ensure equipment is delivered timely for contractor or owner installed equipment.
- Submits all equipment changes and updates into Submittal Exchange.
- Works closely with corporate and facility finance to track and forecast estimated spend as it relates to the project budget.
- Ensures that the equipment standards are being implemented correctly.
- Identifies and manages the appropriate requisition process for the equipment.
- Interacts with facility administrators and other leadership personnel.

Qualifications
- Seven years of experience in a role requiring effective communication and customer service skills, project management, and/or interfacing with business and technical experts.
- Four years of hands-on supply chain experience in areas such as sourcing, purchasing, accounts payable, systems/financial analysis, or materials management.
- Experience in a role requiring attention to detail, sound decision making, sense of urgency / timeliness, and negotiation skills working with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Experience in a role requiring work in a fast-paced and changing environment while handling multiple deadlines and priorities.
- Experience in facility planning or equipment planning.
- Willingness and ability to travel between intermountain facilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Design, Nursing, Construction or related field.
- Experience with Attainia, Revit, and BIM.
- Experience with the design and construction process.
- Experience in a position requiring supplier negotiations.
- Experience with financial and data analysis.
- Experience with project management.
- Knowledge of or experience in hospital OR's, ED's, Imaging, Physical Therapy, Exam Rooms, etc.
- Professional healthcare operations experience including an understanding of supplier relationship building and equipment requisitioning.
- Multiple years in a facility planning or equipment planning position.

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.
$37.31 - $58.75
