Vanguard has an exciting opportunity for a Business Project Manager position for Auto Portability.

Auto Portability Auto Portability (AP) is the automatic transfer of small balance retirement accounts as workers change jobs. Vanguard is a founding member of an industry led consortium, Portability Services Network (PSN), that was formed to support auto portability and includes Retirement Clearinghouse (RCH) and the top 6 recordkeepers. AP addresses the main cause of retirement leakage, job changers cashing out, and helps America’s under-served and under-saved workers, especially minorities, women & low-income workers, improve their retirement outcomes.

Responsibilities


•Supporting Client Success Executives on executing success plays to drive adoption of the service, including presenting to clients and their retirement committees.
•Supporting activities related to PSN, including representing Vanguard on the Technology and Operations committee and supporting the service sponsor on PSN Board meetings and the IIG Finance Director who sits on the PSN audit committee.
•Managing the relationship with Retirement Clearinghouse, who acts as the IRA provider for the service and executes on auto portability transactions for PSN.
•Overseeing implementation activities performed by the service advocate to ensure timely execution of key tasks.


Qualifications

  • Minimum of five years related work experience. Two years of managing a project preferred. Financial Services and function-specific experience preferred.
  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience required. Graduate degree preferred.
