Essential Functions and Responsibilities

  • Deliver revenue expectations in line with overall hotel budget
  • Create and implements sales strategy per transient sub-segment within direct sales through historical analysis and market intelligence in order to maximize profitability
  • To respond promptly to all inquiries and correspondence from customers, prospects and lead referrals
  • Sells and generates revenues within the transient market – specifically Consortia’s, Travel Management Companies, and independent travel agencies.
  • Implement a strategic plan that targets long-term stays
  • Build and maintain strong client relations and developing accounts to increase market share across all revenue streams – locally, nationally and internationally
  • Partner with DOSM to ensure marketing for all consortia agencies is in line with Loews Hotels & Co.
  • Works closely with revenue management team to create and implement promos and sales driven incentives to clients in transient sales segments
  • Participate in Roadshows and Trade Shows to promote Loews Regency, build client relationships and identify new business.
  • Schedule ongoing customer entertainment, site tours and events for potential and existing key customers.
  • Be responsible for and implement a sales action plan for the development of agency sales calls/visits.
  • Develop strong working relationships with hotel department heads and operational areas.
  • Provide weekly and monthly reports of sales calls, data and comp set hotel as requested by DOSM.
  • To learn differing methods of sales and needs of markets solicited with specific concentration and emphasis on assigned markets

Specific Job Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • ·         Superior communication, presentation, negotiation and time management skills.

    ·         Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Lanyon, Opera, Agency360, Synxis

    ·         Minimum of 1 years of hotel sales experience – ideally group and or Business travel.

    ·         Position will require travel to other cities and countries to showcase Loews Regency New York to agencies.

    ·         High School Diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management or similar/applicable discipline preferred.

  • Wage for this position, based on experience, is $85,000-$95,000

Salary range for this position, based on experience, is $68,000.00 to $85,000.00.
