Summary: As a Security Engineer, you will apply security skills to design, build and protect enterprise systems, applications, data, assets, and people. You will provide services to safeguard information, infrastructures, applications, and business processes against cyber threats. Your typical day will involve utilizing your expertise in security penetration testing to identify vulnerabilities, conduct assessments, and recommend security measures to enhance the overall security posture of the organization. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to perform independently and become an SME. - Required active participation/contribution in team discussions. - Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems. - Identify vulnerabilities in systems, networks, and applications through security penetration testing. - Conduct security assessments to evaluate the effectiveness of existing security controls. - Recommend and implement security measures to mitigate identified vulnerabilities. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure security best practices are followed. - Stay up-to-date with the latest security trends, vulnerabilities, and industry best practices. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Security Penetration Testing. - Strong understanding of network protocols, operating systems, and web application security. - Experience with security assessment tools such as Burp Suite, Nessus, and Metasploit. - Knowledge of common security frameworks and standards such as OWASP, NIST, and ISO 27001. - Familiarity with cloud security concepts and technologies. - Good To Have Skills: Experience with incident response and threat intelligence analysis. Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 2 years of experience in Security Penetration Testing. - This position is based at our Pune office. - A BE/BTech degree is required.
