What You Will Do

  • Provide surgeons and surgical team with extensive training and Clinical/Technical support in operating the MAKO robotic arm, SW applications, associated equipment, and instruments to ensure optimal clinical outcomes.
  • Utilize proprietary software to prepare and analyze pre-operative CT scans for precise planning, collaborating closely with surgeons to optimize surgical procedures and enhance patient care.
  • Support the development and execution of the sales plan, aiming to enhance Mako system utilization through comprehensive customer education and training, ultimately increasing procedure volumes.
  • Mentor and certify new MPS’s by providing comprehensive on-the-job training and guidance in alignment with company policies and priorities, fostering a skilled team to support Mako surgeries.
  • Collaborate with surgeons to strategize CT scans and surgical planning while maintaining close relationships with distributors, ensuring seamless instrument and implant delivery for Mako surgeries.
  • Contribute to training and education programs for Stryker employees and regional customers on MAKO and JR products, including course development and curriculum.
  • Engage in Mako surgeries and launches across Mexico, supporting clinical education and training, while actively participating in local conferences and demonstrations to showcase product value.

What You Will Need

  • Bachelor’s degree in biomedical engineering, “Enfermería Quirúrgica” or related
  • Advanced English skills required.
  • Demonstrate ability to communicate with all levels of a medical department (Head of Dept., surgeons, nurses, surgical techs, central sterile processing techs, radiology).
  • Highly experienced in clinical and surgical support, comfortable in Operating Room environment and guidance of surgeons and clinical staff.
  • Travel may vary 40% up to 60% depending on assignment with extended working hours during training in the US.
