About the Role

Acts as the key point of contact for EC and coordinates executive compensation (“EC” which includes both Group ExCo and BU CEO) matters working across relevant stakeholders including contractual management, annual EC cycle activities (benchmarking activities, compensation review and year-end communication (TCR), annual director disclosure, mobility, equity, other HR functions.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Executive Compensation

  • Point of contact for EC and coordinates executive compensation (“EC” which includes both Group ExCo and BU CEO) matters working across relevant stakeholders including mobility, equity, other HR functions
  • Drives annual EC cycle activities which includes for Group ExCo jointly with Remco advisor and for BU CEOs WTW survey across AIA markets, and compensation review processes and year-end communication processes (TCR) for both populations
  • Develops, enhances and maintains EC documentation which includes the EC remuneration guide, relevant data files and other material
  • Responsible for Group ExCo Workday data maintenance and supports on BU CEO Workday data queries
  • Supports on contractual management for EC population which includes developing compensation proposals for new hires, promotions, terminations, and other remuneration adjustments
  • Liaises with benefits CoE on Group ExCo and BU CEO benefits matters
  • Partners with GRR including Global Mobility, HR BPs/RBPs, Group/ Business Unit HR, Legal, Communications, external service providers and consultants
  • Takes ownership, within areas of responsibility, for identifying, escalating, and mitigating risks through appropriate practices in accordance with the Group’s Risk Management Framework and applicable policies

Disclosure letters

  • Manages annual disclosure letter process with relevant stakeholders (Director’s Representation Form)
  • Supports disclosure requirements such as interim and annual report

Other responsibilities

  • Supports on other EC initiatives as requested

Minimum Job Requirements:

  • Able to work in a dynamic environment, prioritize and drive projects to completion, research and identify problems, develop proposals, conduct analysis independently and in collaboration with all levels in the organization
  • Diligent and detail oriented as timely, effective and flawless execution of activities
  • Strong project management and conceptual skills for design and execution
  • A person with the highest integrity and personal character, whose professional and personal conduct reflects favourable upon the Company as dealing with most senior population and strict adherence of rewards programmes to AIA policies, procedures and guidelines
  • Strong interpersonal skills as frequent interaction with internal and external stakeholders across AIA including senior management
  • Good logical sense and numeric sensitive
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills
  • Heavy emphasis on English fluency and excellent writing skills
  • University graduate with an accomplished track record of working in Performance & Reward area for a large publicly-listed financial institution or consultancy
  • Expertise in preparing materials for senior management in English
  • At least 10 years’ relevant experience in rewards area
