Responsibilities:

• Create accurate CAD models, auxiliary geometries, and tooling components required for CAM workflows
• Support the CAM team by preparing clean, manufacturable 3D models
• Assist in model simplification, corrections, and data preparation for machining operations
• Maintain documentation, ensure data accuracy, and follow internal CAD/CAM standards.
• Collaborate with senior CAM programmers and production teams for project requirements
• Learn and gradually take on CAM programming tasks (toolpath creation, simulation, post-processing)
• Basic exposure to CNC machining (G-codes/M-Codes) and controls, toolpath strategies, or post-processing
• Knowledge of cutting tools, Jigs & fixtures, or machining operations
• Familiarity with automation or macros inside CAD/CAM software
• Having knowledge of SAP, Teamcenter, TDM will be added advantage.

Qualifications:

• Diploma / BE / BTech in Mechanical Engineering, Production, or related field.
• 2-4 years of hands-on experience using any CAD/CAM software (TopSolid-preferred; NX, SolidEdge, Fusion 360, Mastercam also considered)
• Good understanding of mechanical drawings, GD&T, and manufacturing processes
• Strong foundation in 3D modelling, assemblies, and drafting
• Eagerness to learn CAM programming, machining concepts and metal manufacturing
• Higher level of communication and understanding
• Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• High quality and cost awareness
