As the Director of Pharmacy – Pediatrics, you will provide strategic leadership and operational oversight across three pediatric pharmacy sites, ensuring the highest standards of safety, quality and patient care. In this role, you will collaborate closely with providers, leaders, and interdisciplinary teams to optimize workflows, support recruitment and development efforts, and drive integration with Main Campus initiatives. Supported by a Manager and Pharmacist Leads, you will guide daily operations, foster strong team engagement and maintain a visible presence across all locations. This position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on pediatric pharmacy services while advancing efficiency, compliance and caregiver support.

A caregiver in this position works 8:00am to 5:00pm.  

A caregiver who excels in this role will:  

  • Coordinate department planning and oversee all pharmacy personnel. 
  • Participate in the preparation and monitoring of departmental budget, assuming leadership of drug expense portion.
  • Design systems to ensure the Pharmacy Department meets all existing standards. 
  • Develop, implement, direct and monitor pharmaceutical care services. 
  • Design quality programs evaluating drug utilization and pharmacy services. 
  • Evaluate efficiency and safety of pharmacy services. 
  • Recommend programs to enhance performance while staying abreast of current trends. 

Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:  

  • PharmD, Master’s of Science or Master’s of Business Administration OR ten years of experience in an equivalent role within a health system environment 
  • Current state licensure as a Registered Pharmacist (RPh) or eligible within 90 days of hire 
  • Three years of management or supervisory experience with direct reports 

Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include: 

  • Residency-trained 
  • Experience in a large, tertiary care medical center 
  • Experience in an inpatient setting or pediatrics strongly preferred

Physical Requirements:

  • Physical demands include periods of standing and walking.
  • Dexterity sufficient to perform computer functions and communication via telephone.
  • May be required to lift and transport up to 10 pounds.
  • Requires normal or corrected vision.
