Job Description:

The Business Development Coordinator plays a critical role in collating, coordinating and integrating qualitative and quantitative information to help meet B2B Sales and client services objectives globally, specifically with Request for Proposals (RFPs) & Request for Information (RFIs). You will work with and support the Global RFP Specialist to ensure outputs including, but not limited to: Request for Proposal (RFP), Request for Information (RFI), and Due Diligence Questionnaires (DDQ) and works to ensure proposals are created in an accurate and timely in accordance with client expectations. You will report to the Business Development Specialist.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to and with with the Global RFP Specialist.
  • Help to maintain the RFPIO / Responsive Answer Bank Library
  • Be a central contact for incoming and ongoing RFPs, RFIs and DDQs, and post-completion follow up requests.
  • Oversee the RFP project timeline from beginning to end, ensuring RFP deadlines are met by establishing, prioritizing and tracking progress.
  • Help with assignment of questions to SMEs, monitoring the SME's work within the review cycle to ensure content remains up-to-date and relevant; using the appropriate metadata and handling bulk updates.
  • Work with internal subject matter experts to develop consistent, compelling responses to satisfy proposal requirements.
  • Work with the software vendor, RFPIO/Responsive, and internal users of the software, coordinating user access, training, integration with Salesforce and communications.
  • Help to build standard proposal templates based on Business Unit and Buying Centers.
  • Assist with reporting metrics.
  • Work on ad hoc projects as needed.
  • This is a global role supporting AME, EMEA and APAC; early morning/evening calls are infrequent but may be required as necessary.

Skills and Qualifications required:

  • Atleast 3 years of experience with 1 year of experience in either the completion of RFPs, RFIs and Due Diligence requests or in a relevant function such as Client Reporting & Sales Presentations Production, Sales Ops, or Customer Support.
  • Familiar with RFPIO/Responsive or similar RFP repository.
  • Project management and organizational skills, with the ability to work on multiple proposals simultaneously.
  • Excellent time management - ability to work under tight timelines and meet deadlines
  • Team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Motivated self-starter with ability to implement tactical initiative
