We are seeking a talented and experienced Salesforce Transformation Architect with a focus on Incentive Compensation Management (ICM) to join our team. This role is critical in helping drive business transformation by leveraging ICM technologies to optimize incentive compensation processes, align sales and compensation teams, and create scalable solutions that deliver measurable results.

Position Overview:

As a Transformation Architect, you will be responsible for leading the design, implementation, and optimization of Incentive Compensation Management solutions for incentive compensation management. You will collaborate closely with business stakeholders, product owners, and technical teams to understand business requirements and develop tailored solutions that improve operational efficiency, drive business growth, and optimize sales performance.

You will also serve as a thought leader in the areas of incentive compensation management,  platform configuration and enablement, driving best practices, ensuring platform scalability, and ensuring seamless integration with other enterprise systems. You will take the lead on both strategic and technical aspects of ICM platform  implementations and work across multiple projects to deliver high-impact results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Solution Design and Architecture
    Design end-to-end Salesforce solutions with a focus on Incentive Compensation Management (ICM). Lead the creation of solution architecture blueprints, including integrations, customizations, and configurations
  • Incentive Compensation Optimization
    Analyze current incentive compensation processes, identify pain points, and provide recommendations for automating and improving processes using Salesforce's native and third-party tools. Implement solutions that align with business goals, ensuring transparency and accuracy in compensation models
  • Stakeholder Management
    Collaborate with senior leaders, sales operations, finance, and HR teams to define requirements, build roadmaps, and set clear expectations. Act as the main point of contact for business and technical teams to ensure effective communication and alignment
  • Implementation Leadership
    Lead the implementation of Salesforce solutions for incentive compensation, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery of projects. Provide strategic direction and oversee the technical design, testing, deployment, and post-implementation support phases
  • Customization and Integration
    Leverage Salesforce tools such as Salesforce CPQ, Sales Cloud, SPIFF and third-party ICM applications (e.g., Xactly, Varicent) to configure and integrate compensation management systems. Oversee data migration and integrate Salesforce with other enterprise systems (e.g., ERP, HRIS)
  • Continuous Improvement
    Evaluate and recommend new features, tools, and processes to improve the efficiency of Salesforce-based incentive compensation management. Stay up to date with the latest Salesforce product updates and industry trends

Qualifications:

  • Experience
    • 4+ years of experience working with Salesforce, with at least 3 years focused on Incentive Compensation Management (ICM)
    • 2+ years of experience with incentive plan design
    • Solid understanding of accounting operations with specialization in payroll expense and management 
    • Solid understanding of common payroll regulatory compliance standards
    • Experience in designing, implementing, and optimizing ICM or Salesforce solutions
    • Proven track record of leading successful large scale transformation projects, especially in enterprise
    • Expertise in integrating Salesforce with third-party incentive compensation platforms is a strong plus
    • Experience in financial and commission reporting, as well as optimizing compensation structures to ensure accuracy and fairness
  • Technical Skills
    • Strong hands-on experience with Salesforce configuration (objects, workflows, process builder, Lightning, etc.)
    • Proficiency in Salesforce reporting and dashboard development, with an understanding of sales performance analytics
    • Experience with integration tools like MuleSoft, Informatica, or REST/SOAP APIs
  • Leadership & Communication
    • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
    • Strong leadership skills, with a proven ability to mentor and guide cross-functional teams, including business analysts, developers, and consultants
  • Business Acumen
    • Deep understanding of compensation structures, incentive plans, and sales performance management processes
    • Experience with aligning Salesforce solutions with sales and business operations to drive measurable performance improvements

Required Certifications:

  • Salesforce Certifications
    • Salesforce Certified Sales Cloud Consultant
    • Salesforce Certified CPQ Specialist (preferred)
  • Incentive Compensation Management Expertise
    • Familiarity or certification in SPIFF and  third-party ICM tools such as Xactly, Varicent, or CallidusCloud is highly beneficial.
