Job Responsibilities

• Support the Regional EHS Manager with day‑to‑day EHS operations and coordination.

• Lead, coach, and develop the Singapore EHS team, ensuring strong operational performance.

• Serve as the EHS Subject Matter Expert, advising business partners and supporting customer (Applied Materials) EHS requirements.

• Develop, review, and maintain Risk Assessments and Job Hazard Analyses in compliance with MOM/WSH regulations and customer standards.

• Maintain accurate documentation, inspection records, PTW documents, incident reports, and audit logs.

• Liaise with relevant Singapore authorities (MOM, NEA, SCDF) for statutory reporting and regulatory compliance matters.

• Support and conduct EHS training, toolbox talks, and competency programs.

• Lead internal/external audits, customer audits, and site inspections; manage corrective actions to closure.

• Monitor EHS KPIs and provide analytical insights, trend analysis, and performance updates.

• Support chemical safety, ergonomics program, LOTO, emergency preparedness, and contractor management activities.

• Champion continuous improvement and drive EHS culture across the site.

• Other duties as required by EHS Leadership.

Candidate Requirements

Mandatory:

• Registered Safety Officer (RSO) with MOM.

• Minimum 2 years of experience working as an RSO in Singapore.

• Strong understanding of Singapore WSH legislation, including Risk Management, Fire Safety, and relevant Codes of Practice.

• Experience conducting audits, managing PTW systems, and leading incident investigations.

Preferred:

• Bachelor’s degree in EHS, Engineering, Science, or related field.

• Experience in a fast‑paced technical/industrial environment (manufacturing, semiconductor, facilities management preferred).

• Hands-on experience with digital EHS systems (Gensuite, Enablon, Velocity, or equivalent).

• Strong ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.

• Excellent communication, reporting, presentation, and documentation skills.

• Proficiency in Microsoft applications and ability to create high‑quality reports.

• Demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement and proactive safety culture.

• Flexibility to support operational needs beyond standard hours when required.
