The system will leverage commercial LEO satellites and Optical Inter-Satellite Links (OISLs) for integrated, hybrid MilSatCom networking which, combined with Telesat’s longstanding engineering excellence, will deliver secure, reliable and cost-effective global connectivity for government and defense applications.
The Director for TGS Products Engineering manage/lead integration, testing, solutions engineering, sales and training for the TGS products portfolio. Individual will build strong relationships with DoW/Federal customers for Lightspeed capabilities. Individual will provide technical support for the pre- and post-sales activities of TGS product lines.
As a champion of new technology, you will develop effective solutions to meet customer communication needs leveraging Telesat’s Lightspeed constellation. This individual will also drive the TGS terminal strategy.
Additionally, you will be offering technology recommendations and advice, performing modeling and simulations, and conducting test and evaluation demonstrations aiming to secure sales and customer satisfaction. This person will have specialist knowledge and relevant contacts that will enable customer solutioning that will set TGS up for future success on Lightspeed.
