Job Description

What is the opportunity?

As a Service Associate, Operations, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and completeness of reconciliation and reporting processes for high net worth and ultra-high net worth client accounts. Your attention to detail and analytical skills will be essential in identifying discrepancies, managing risk, and recommending process improvements. You will develop and apply in-depth knowledge of account reconciliation standards and regulatory requirements to verify and validate client account data and transactions. This will involve conducting thorough reviews of account information, identifying potential gaps or areas of non-compliance, and taking corrective action to ensure adherence to operational and regulatory standards. Additionally, you will collaborate with various operational teams and business partners to implement process enhancements that drive efficiency, accuracy, and compliance.

What will you do?

  • Perform daily reconciliation activities to validate cash, asset, and book cost positions and resolve any discrepancies or outstanding items on a timely basis.

  • Ensure adherence to reconciliation standards and internal procedures, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed.

  • Conduct monthly performance deviation analysis to identify variances, implement corrective actions, and document findings.

  • Collaborate with operational teams and business partners to identify root causes of reconciliation variances, providing recommendations and supporting the implementation of process enhancements to improve accuracy and efficiency.

  • Maintain accurate reconciliation documentation and notes in internal tracking systems, ensuring procedures, policies, and guidelines are up-to-date, accurate, and readily accessible to support risk mitigation and operational excellence.

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have

  • 1+ years of operations, securities, Wealth Management or Banking industry experience

  • 1+ years of experience working with AI to process large data sets and improve complex processes

  • Demonstrated ability in written and oral communication skills along with strong presentation skills.

  • Strong attention to detail and risk management mindset.

  • Strong critical thinking skills and ability to propose innovative solutions.

Nice-to-have

  • Knowledge of Broadridge applications

  • Prior experience with reconciliation processes

  • Reporting and tracking capabilities using tools such as MS Excel (advanced formulas/pivot tables/macros)
