Associate Director, Data Analyst – Job Overview

The Associate Director, Data Analyst plays a strategic role in ensuring the accuracy, quality, and timely delivery of data that powers client solutions. This leadership position oversees the HCN DataOps team’s data operations and delivery functions, while driving collaboration across sales, account management, and product teams to meet client needs. Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and ensure all data deliverables meet quality standards through rigorous validation and QA processes.
• Manage and prioritize complex ad-hoc data requests with precision and timeliness.
• Partner with internal teams (sales, account management, product) to clarify requirements and deliver solutions aligned with client expectations.
• Communicate technical findings in clear, non-technical language for business stakeholders.
• Identify patterns in incoming requests to recommend automation and self-service solutions.
• Lead initiatives to scope and implement process improvements that enhance scalability and efficiency.
• Maintain a deep understanding of the data ecosystem for supported products and guide team development.
• Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues quickly and effectively.

Qualifications

Education:
Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience; advanced degree preferred.

Experience:
8+ years in data-related roles, with at least 4 years in a leadership or cross-functional capacity. Proven experience in data operations, delivery processes, and stakeholder engagement.

Skills:

• Strong SQL and data manipulation skills; familiarity with ETL tools (e.g., Alteryx) preferred.
