Shift: 7:00 PM-7:00 AM

Hourly Rate: $23.18 an hour

The Lead Sanitation position is responsible for a variety of responsibilities including overseeing and providing support to the Sanitation associates, performing LOTO on equipment, maintaining and dispensing cleaning chemicals, and completing inspections of lines and areas to ensure adherence to USDA and plant standards while following all safety regulations and ensuring all GMP and quality standards are met. You will report to the Sanitation Team Leader. You will work onsite at the Council Bluffs location. Start Rate $23.18 an hour, attendance incentive $0.70 an hour.

 

Essential Job Functions:

·       Ability to work the scheduled/assigned times and required overtime for position

·       Regular attendance to ensure production requirements are met

·       Ability to read, write, communicate, and comprehend written instructions in English

·       Ability to follow instruction

·       Basic knowledge of computers

·       Work individually and with others as a team

·       Ability to move up to 50lbs

Job Responsibilities:

·       You will Oversee Sanitation operations providing support

·       You will ensure that cleaning chemicals are maintain and dispense to sanitation crews

·       You will work with supervisor and chemical room attendant on ordering sanitation supplies and chemicals

·       Complete Pre-Op Inspections of Production Areas & Lines following USDA and plant standards

·       You will Perform daily, weekly and monthly audits on the CIP Operators to ensure titration & temperature recordings

·       Ensure that the Master Sanitation Cleaning Tasks & Sanitation PMs are perform when schedule and documented accordingly

·       Work with the Sanitation Associates on disassembling/assembling equipment

·       Allocate the Sanitation Associates and help clean and sanitize

·       You will train new Sanitation associates

·       You will Conduct safety audits

·       Special projects as assigned

 

Skills Required:

·       Knowledge of GMP’s and plant safety

·       Ability to be LOTO certified

·       Ability to be PIT certified and maintain certification

·       Understanding of damage/loss

·       Knowledge of 5s principles

·       Knowledge of chemical awareness MSDS

 

Qualifications:

Education: High school diploma or GED.

Experience: Minimum 3 months sanitation or related experience preferred.  Previous lead experience preferred.
