Sabre Hospitality is looking for a talented Contributor .Net Software Development Engineer in Test. You will be part of a team automating our critical test cases and workflows, working closely with other Quality Engineers and Developers. Communication skills and collaborative development and problem solving will be critical to success in this position. A demonstrated thirst/inclination/passion for technology is highly valued.
Products and Teams
Sabre Hospitality Solutions is a department of Sabre where we produce systems for hospitality. Our clients are large hotel chains like Wyndham or Louvre and many smaller ones.
Channel Connect provides you connectivity to nearly 600 OTA channels with unmatched flexibility for advanced pricing and revenue management strategies.
ARI (Available Rate Inventory) team is responsible for creating integration solutions between hotel systems and OTA (Online Travel Agencies) and for system migration to GCP.
Integration team is responsible for integrating components in Saber Hospitality such as ARI and Channel Connect - ensuring that they work together and deliver consistent results.
Role and Responsibilities
Automate high-priority tests to ensure the quality delivery of features.
Integrate tests with a centralized dashboard to provide visibility into test results.
Implement and enhance services to troubleshoot critical production issues.
Identify and remediate poorly performing code.
Education Requirements
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
Must Have Skills
2-3 years of coding experience in .NET and NUnit.
Experience in developing and implementing Service-Oriented Applications.
Proficiency in implementing REST services.
Familiarity with distributed architectures and messaging systems (WCF, MSMQ, and PubSub).
Strong understanding of OO design principles and patterns.
Comprehensive knowledge of test processes, open-source test frameworks, test design strategies, writing test cases, and automating tests in .NET.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Nice To Have Skills
Experience with Oracle databases.
Knowledge of ORM technologies, preferably NHibernate and/or SqlAlchemy.
Expertise in .NET performance monitoring and tuning.
Experience with Google Cloud Platform API integration.
