Red Hat's Consulting team is looking for an Ansible Automation Architect to join our team in Puteaux, France. In this role, your primary responsibility will be to passionately guide the adoption of Red Hat's solutions in our key enterprise accounts, government agencies, and service provider partners. Through a series of interactions both in-person and remote, you will build the trust and confidence of customer engineering, development, and operations teams by aligning their requirements and use cases with the functional capabilities of the solution. As an Ansible Automation Architect, you should have thorough working knowledge and practical experience with Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform and high-level familiarity with Chef, Puppet, Salt, and other similar tools. You should have a solid understanding of DevOps methodologies and tools and how they can be applied within an organization. You will also have a key role in bringing together cross-functional teams from Red Hat’s product business units, product engineering, support, professional services, and sales to meet the needs of our most demanding customers. You will serve as a customer advocate with these organizations to architect the right solutions and to ensure that those solutions are implemented and supported in an innovative and reliable way.

What you will do

  • Deliver successful discovery, analysis, and design workshops for small to medium teams of both technical and non-technical backgrounds that shape and inspire the customer use cases and architecture design decisions
  • Scope delivery projects and guide customers through successful pilot and production deployments
  • Design, create, and deliver content that enables the broader Red Hat organization to sell, service, and support our cloud solutions at scale
  • Work closely with product business units, product engineering, consulting, support, and sales teams to ensure a world-class customer experience with Red Hat’s offerings
  • Contribute to the development of repeatable methodologies and tools designed to scale Red Hat’s services capabilities, promote repeatable customer engagements, and lower delivery risk
  • Demonstrate thought leadership in the DevOps community by producing world-class whitepapers and webinars, coding contributions to relevant projects, and speaking at industry leading conferences


What you will bring

  • Background in architecture and designing complex customer solutions in a rapidly evolving technology domain
  • Extensive experience in a solutions architect, enterprise architect, or an architect consulting delivery roles
  • Previous experience with automation and with Ansible is mandatory
  • Background in RHEL, Satellite and Identity Management is welcome
  • Experience with cloud environments and their supporting infrastructures
  • Solid background in consultative customer engagement with either a major consulting services organization or within the services division of a major software company
  • Record of working in a strategic advisory capacity to senior IT and business executives
  • Outstanding verbal and written communications skills, including extensive experience presenting to C-level executives at large companies
  • Solutions sales mindset in an environment with multiple offerings and services
  • Proven ability to work seamlessly with distributed cross-functional teams to achieve success on behalf of customers
  • Fluent French and English language skills
  • Willingness to travel up to 50%
