About this role: 

As a Primary Care Sports Medicine physician at Intermountain Health, you will work with a team of healthcare professionals committed to providing quality care and excellent patient experience. Our integrated Sports Medicine team uses state-of-the-art techniques, advanced procedures, and innovative therapies to design treatment plans that are customized to our patients’ specific needs and address the full continuum of care.

In your role as a Primary Care Sports Medicine physician at TOSH, you will establish a practice and presence in the surrounding communities.  You will join a collaborative local team of sports medicine physicians and orthopedic subspecialty surgeons.

We anticipate you seeing patients of all-ages for musculoskeletal conditions, fracture care, sports-related concussions, and procedures, including ultrasound-guided injections and  diagnostic ultrasound.

In this role you can also anticipate:

  • Practicing full spectrum sports medicine at TOSH in Murray, Utah. Some of your clinical hours will include patient preferred business hours Monday through Friday.

  • Providing team coverage for high school, professional organizations and D1 collegiate patients.

  • Performing advanced injection techniques such as platelet-rich plasma, nerve blocks, diagnostic ultrasound, etc.

  • No call requirements or coverage.

  • A signing bonus and relocation assistance (if applicable).

  • An ideal candidate will have 5+ years of post fellowship training clinical experience in Sports Medicine with extensive experience in professional and/or D1 sports coverage.

What you’ll bring: 

  • MD or DO degree from a fully accredited medical or osteopathic school of medicine 

  • Sports Medicine fellowship trained

  • Board certification or eligibility in Primary Care Sports Medicine and Board Certification in Family Medicine

  • Active, unobstructed Utah medical license, or the ability to obtain one 

  • Ability to successfully complete Intermountain Health’s credentialing process 

  • We are not able to accept candidates requiring Visa sponsorship at this time

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience. 

$7.25 - $999.99
