Position: Senior Systems Administrator
Experience Required: 5 to 8 Years

Location: Nashik/Pune, India

Your Responsibilities

Infrastructure Engineering & Projects

• Design, implement, and continuously improve server, virtualization, backup, and monitoring solutions in on‑premises and Azure environments.
• Act as a senior technical contributor in infrastructure projects, from concept and architecture to implementation and handover to operations.

Operations, Reliability & Support

• Operate, maintain, and optimize Windows and Linux server environments, virtualization platforms, and backup systems.
• Ensure high availability, performance, and recoverability of critical systems.
• Lead root cause analysis for complex incidents and proactively prevent recurring issues.

Backup & Recovery

• Own enterprise backup and recovery concepts, including architecture, policies, testing, and continuous improvement.
• Ensure reliable data protection, disaster recovery readiness, and compliance with internal and external requirements.

Monitoring & Observability

• Design and maintain monitoring, alerting, and reporting solutions to ensure proactive detection of issues.
• Translate technical metrics into actionable insights for operations and service management.

Security, Standards & Documentation

• Apply hardening, patching, and operational security best practices.
• Maintain high-quality technical documentation and operational runbooks.
• Support ITIL-aligned processes (Incident, Problem, Change) with a strong operational mindset.

Your Profile

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a comparable IT qualification.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in enterprise IT infrastructure roles, with clear senior-level responsibility.
• Deep technical expertise in:
  • Server & OS: Windows Server, Active Directory, Linux (enterprise-grade operation).
  • Backup & Recovery: Veeam (architecture, operations, restore scenarios, DR concepts).
  • Monitoring & Operations: Monitoring/alerting platforms, log analysis, capacity and availability monitoring.
  • Virtualization & Infrastructure: VMware vSphere, storage concepts, on‑prem data centers.
  • Cloud (Azure): Azure IaaS, hybrid environments, identity integration (Entra ID), backup and governance basics.
• Strong operational mindset with a focus on stability, reliability, and continuous improvement.
• Independent, structured, and solution-oriented way of working.
• Excellent communication skills and strong team orientation.
• Fluent English (C1/C2) for collaboration with international teams and partners.
