Job Description: The Learning & Development Consultant within the HR Shared Services organization is responsible for delivering a consistent and positive employee experience by applying sound judgment, strong problem‑solving skills, and deep knowledge of the Learning & Development systems and processes. The Learning & Development Consultant serves as a key liaison between HR Centers of Excellence (COEs), business units, and employees, driving process improvements, leveraging technology, and maintaining service-level agreements (SLAs). Additionally, the role focuses on optimizing workflows, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of transactions, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and customer service.
Salary: $100,000.00 annually plus 10% AIP eligibility. The actual compensation offered may vary based on job related factors such as experience, skills, education and location.
Core Responsibilities:
Serve as the first-line contact for inquiries specific to the Learning and Development systems via the case management system.
Maintain service-level agreements (SLAs) and key performance indicators (KPIs) for all L&D processes.
Troubleshoot and resolve employee issues or escalate as needed.
Maintain accurate and complete documentation in the HR case management system.
Identify recurring issues and propose improvements to streamline the L&D processes.
Partner with the Learning & Development team to implement system enhancements and optimize functionality.
Support audit activities and ensure compliance with organizational training requirements.
Contribute to knowledge base content, FAQs, and process documentation.
Support HR projects, process enhancements, and system implementations.
Serve as an escalation point for complex employee inquiries and issues.
Ensure a positive and consistent employee experience.
Maintain accuracy and confidentiality of employee data within HR systems.
Generate and analyze reports to track performance, identify trends, and support decision-making.
Additional duties as assigned.
Qualifying Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in related discipline; master’s degree preferred
7+ years of related experience in instructional design, and developing learning content, tools, and resources, preferably in a global setting.
3+ years’ experience with learning and development tools such as Cornerstone LMS, Articulate, Camtasia, Captivate, Canva, Mentimeter, Udemy, LinkedIn Learning, etc.
Experience in HR shared services and HR operations preferred.
Combination of relevant education and experience
Familiar with HRIS systems and case management tools
Understanding of centralized service delivery, SLA’s, and process optimization principles.
Strong ability to analyze data, identify trends, and implement process improvements.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with employees, stakeholders, and leadership.
Skilled in managing projects, timelines, and cross-functional initiatives.
Competence in HR systems, reporting tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to deliver a positive employee experience and resolve escalated issues effectively.
Capacity to manage change, prioritize tasks, and work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Ability to build strong relationships with HR Centers of Excellence, business units, and external vendors.
Maintain strict confidentiality and integrity when handling sensitive employee information.
Ability to identify opportunities for automation and efficiency.
