Position Description:
Builds, deploys, and maintains scalable applications using Cloud platforms (Amazon Web Services (AWS)) and container orchestration technologies (Kubernetes), to automate infrastructure management, scale applications on demand, and optimize resource utilization in Cloud environments. Applies practices in unit testing, automation, Acceptance Test-Driven Development (ATDD), DevOps, Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD), design, and code reviews. Builds and maintains robust, scalable Web applications using Angular (RXJS), Java, Spring Boot, RESTful services, Oracle SQL, and PLSQL. Ensures the entire application (from the backend Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) to the frontend User Interface (UI)) is rested, robust, and reliable, using Karate and Cypress. Provides business solutions by developing complex software applications.

Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a closely related field (or foreign education equivalent) and three (3) years of experience as a Senior Software Engineer/Developer (or closely related occupation) designing, developing, and implementing highly scalable, secure, and Cloud ready enterprise Web applications in a financial services environment.
Or, alternatively, Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a closely related field (or foreign education equivalent) and one (1) year of experience as a Senior Software Engineer/Developer (or closely related occupation) designing, developing, and implementing highly scalable, secure, and Cloud ready enterprise Web applications in a financial services environment.
