What you'll do:

This Analyst will support Business Data Governance team to monitor business line data processes and procedures in collecting and updating source systems that feed databases.

What we are looking for:

  • Support Business Data Governance team to monitor business line data processes and procedures in collecting and updating source systems that feed databases.
  • Support Business Data Governance Reporting and Analytics teams to ensure data quality in Enterprise Data Warehouse is assured for reporting and analytics.
  • Support Business Data Governance Policy and Procedures team in development or updates to data processes and procedures.
  • Monitor and support daily data validation processes from multiple data sources to assist in the resolution of issues found by review of data rules and work with business line data stewards to resolve data issues.
  • Advanced SQL Query Language or similar coding laguages coding and data querying
  • Use strong skills in data mining using SQL Server Management Studio to query SQL databases to review data tables or views for accuracy.
  • Summarize data to identify or explain data issues using Excel, Power BI, or Tableau.
  • Use advanced skills with technological tools and software as a service and web-based data tools.
  • Assist Enterprise Data Governance development and sourcing data stores in Enterprise Data Lake and Enterprise Data Warehouse.
  • Engage with Enterprise Data Governance with User Acceptance Testing (UAT) work to validate build of data stores are capturing source data feeds accurately for consumption.
  • Prioritize work load to meet deadlines and expected timing of issue resolution.
  • Assist with monthly data reconciliations for the General Ledger close process, ensuring critical data issues are resolved in preparation of the monthly General Ledger close.

What you need to have:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, Information Technology or a closely related field to banking and loan processing or loan portfolio management.
  • 1-3 years of system administration and configuration support experience or other related experience with credit/lending system processes
  • 1-2 years of experience writing SQL Code and building tables and views in a SQL server and familiarity with SSIS packages for data management processes
  • Experience with C# coding or other coding languages, preferred.
  • Detail-oriented, analytical, and inquisitive
  • Ability to work independently and within a teamwork group related to project work
