Overview

The lead of Supply Chain Global Transformation & PMO COE will be responsible for leading the transformation of HP’s supply chain Planning to Execution architecture to enable best in class processes & systems in forecasting, planning and execution domains across various businesses.  As a member of the Supply Chain Executive Leadership Team and reporting into the Global Head of Supply Chain Transformation and Resiliency, you will lead the development and execution of critical business decisions that drive HP’s strategic direction and operational success and associated investments.

You will manage 3 major outcomes for the organization:

  • lead the Program Management Office ensuring the coordination and prioritization of major capabilities scoping and development, in close relationship with the other domain COE’s, Supply Chain Operations, Finance and IT;
  • influence the global digital transformation of supply chain planning tools and processes to the next level, focusing on cross-functional collaboration, process simplification, forecast accuracy, material positioning and order commitment while driving continuous strategic focus on customer satisfaction.  You will bring business expertise to provide insights about Operations and Customers’ needs and deploy a vision and drive the Management Of Change across the organization. You will also lead the Center of Expertise through benchmarking, industry surveys, active engagement with software partners and consultants;
  • support key strategic programs with the goal to implement a more resilient and sustainable Supply Chain, while addressing customer needs, geo-political trends, and requirements for a circular economy supply chain infrastructure.

Responsibilities

  • You will collaborate with senior management peers to create an integrated supply chain strategy and best practices. You will partner very closely with the various COE’s Logistic, Markets Supply Chain, Planning, Order-To-Cash, BI, Analytics & Automation and Produce & Manufacture and drive a consistent overall approach and managing the Program Management Office.
  • You will prioritize improvements to processes and procedures, services, or products, as well as end-to-end supply chain optimization through the development of the right planning infrastructures.
  • You will be responsible for the digital transformation of planning to execution roadmaps to drive organizational capabilities based on company goals, business plans and supply chain analytics.
  • You will lead cross-functional and cross-business unit teams to design and implement end-to-end supply chain planning capabilities and strategies based on business plans and objectives partnering with the whole Supply Chain Operations.
  • You will lead the Center of Expertise through benchmarking, industry surveys, active engagement with software partners and consultants.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Develops and leads planning, design, implementation, communication and delivery of the company's supply chain network design and architecture initiatives across the Supply Chain
  • Actively partners with and influences internal and external stakeholders and/or suppliers at the EXEC3 and EXEC2 level on a regular basis.
  • Drives multi-year strategies and initiatives at the global supply chain level by exercising some governance oversight in one or more areas.
  • Has significant financial responsibility managing budget for consultants
  • Leads a team of Senior Individual Contributors for Supply Chain by setting overall program initiatives, allocating financial and human capital for programs and projects, and ensuring timely and effective delivery of Supply Chain programs.
  • Responsible for performance management, talent management and succession planning, ensuring that the appropriate tools and processes are in place to support the team.
  • May be responsible for significant dotted-line employee reporting relationships.
  • Applies broad and deep subject matter expertise to solve a variety of highly complex business issues from Planning to Execution and overall Operations.
  • Leads or advises on organization design.

Education and Experience Required:

  • First level university degree or equivalent experience; advanced university degree preferred.
  • Typically 12+ years of experience in a supply chain or related function.
  • Experienced in managing large teams and/or organizations.
  • Significant Supply Chain and Operations background, with experience in multiple disciplines (e.g., manufacturing, planning, logistics, etc.).

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Superior understanding of end-to-end supply chain processes and strategy requirements.
  • Advanced understanding of market place and industry architecture standards.
  • Advanced ability to build forward-thinking partnerships with internal/external partners and suppliers.
  • Advanced leadership skills, particularly in complex, international, and cross functional teams.
  • Advanced program management and prioritization skills.
  • Advanced communication skills, catered to a wide variety of audiences; mastery in English and local language.
  • Excellent business acumen and understanding of supply chain capabilities and requirements.
  • Advanced financial skills.
  • Excellent understanding of HP's policies and processes.
  • Ability to manage complex processes concurrently.
  • Advanced consulting, influencing and negotiation skills; ability to ensure strategic alignment with multiple parties.
