We are looking for a bright self-starter to join our Zipcar for Business (Z4B) team as an Account Manager. The core focus of the role is to look after, build relationships and grow business accounts after taking over the account ownership from Inside Sales team.
The day-to-day responsibilities of the role will include:
Responding to inbound calls, emails and following up with further regular contact as necessary, in order to grow business accounts and sustain member satisfaction.
Managing each account after taking account ownership from inside Sales team, 90 days post their sign up date.
Encouraging businesses to make bookings, offering exclusive offers and taking a consultative approach to up-selling further drivers, insurance options and internal & external expansion.
Organise and attend meetings and events, in order to build customer relationships and grow business accounts.
Taking pro-active approach in trying to win new businesses and self sourcing new accounts.
Determining from business accounts, which would have potential to grow or be high-value and hand these opportunities over to the key account management team.
Using Salesforce CRM software to manage and record contact with all leads and accounts.

Have the intelligence and commerciality to engage with and command the respect of the business people that use our service
Be self-starter who enjoys problem-solving and suggesting new initiatives
Have an excellent work-ethic and be target-driven
Possess excellent sales skills, including the tenacity and self-awareness to continue to drive their sales success
Have a confident, friendly telephone manner
Demonstrate excellent written communication skills
Be eager to get involved in group-learning to ensure the continued success of the team
