We are seeking a talented individual to join our Research, BIG Pacific team at Marsh. This role will be based in Mumbai - Hiranandani, Powai. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.
As a part of the Business Intelligence Group (BIG) Pacific - Strategic Research team in India Knowledge Services function of Marsh McLennan (India) Private Limited, the candidate will be aligned to the regional sales and client engagement vertical, supporting sales enablement projects and live client pitches for the sales team, partners, and risk advisors.
Dedicatedly working for Pacific, the BIG team supports stakeholders with insights to achieve distinctive client outcomes. We track clients, prospects, industries, markets, competitors as well as emerging risks and develop research collateral critical to growth and sales strategy.

Invest in understanding our business thoroughly
Independently deliver high-impact research engagements ─ projects commissioned by regional leaders, strategy and sales communities within the firm
High attention to detail in both research and creation of end products, with focus on producing insightful, synthetized, well written outputs/ reports
Be extremely responsive in daily work and showcase research process excellence
Mentor junior colleagues to scale up overall capabilities and make distinctive contributions to Marsh’s thought leadership and client servicing efforts
Estimate timelines accurately, maintain regular stakeholder and project manager interaction, flag issues proactively, be solution oriented and create routines that enhance efficient working
Develop strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders through high quality project delivery, responsiveness, and agile and clear communication
What you need to have:
Bachelors / Masters in Economics or Masters in Business Administration (MBA) / equivalent post-graduation certification from a reputed institute
3 to 5 years of experience in strategy advisory, research (quantitative and qualitative | secondary) experience, at a leading professional services / consulting firm / market intelligence / research firm
Strong commitment to absorb and engage in feedback discussions and enhancing own knowledge and quality of end products
Exposure in building frameworks, drawing data driven insights and performing analysis aligned to the ‘Sales Strategy’, focusing on clients / prospects, markets, competitors, products and regulatory developments
Good understanding of financial concepts, global marketplace, key trends, economic and geo-political developments, key business and financial risks
Strong understanding of strategy frameworks (PESTEL, Porter’s 5 forces, BCG Matrix, SWOT, etc.) and their applications in bringing out innovative insights
Strong analytical, critical thinking, problem solving, storyboarding and report writing skills, and excellent communication skills – verbal, writing, listening
Advanced level of proficiency in MS Office - PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and SharePoint
Extensive exposure of commercial databases such as S&P Cap IQ, Factiva, Global Data, A.M Best Insurance service etc.
