As a Maintenance Engineer - Wireline Services , you will be responsible for:
Performing maintenance, repair, and testing of wireline equipment (Sondex product line focus)
Ensuring equipment readiness aligned with job requirements and operational plans
Ensuring compliance with maintenance standards and certification requirements
Supporting with equipment validation before deployment (fit-for-job verification)
Coordinating with Service Delivery teams, Equipment/Asset specialists, and Field engineers and operations teams
Maintaining accurate maintenance records and equipment history
Contributing to reliability improvements and reduction of equipment failures

To be successful in this role you will:
Have a minimum of 5 years of experience in maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of wireline equipment, and Electronic and electromechanical systems in oil & gas operations
Have hands-on Sondex tool experience (highly desirable / preferred)
Have field or workshop (AMO/repair center) experience (preferred)
Have a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, or related technical discipline.
Have strong expertise in wireline downhole tools, surface systems, acquisition units, electronic troubleshooting , and electromechanical assemblies
Have the ability to diagnose failures and perform root cause analysis, execute preventive and corrective maintenance programs, and interpret performance data to improve reliability
Be proficient in reading and interpreting electrical circuit diagram, wiring schematics, mechanical drawings and assembly diagrams
Have strong fault-finding capability using test equipment (multimeters, oscilloscopes, diagnostic tools)
Have strong understanding of tool environmental limits (temperature, pressure, H₂S conditions) and equipment certification and compliance requirements
Have experience with SAP (maintenance orders, equipment history, repair tracking)
Be Familiar with maintenance management system and digital reporting tools and documentation systems
Have effective communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders
Have the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced operational environment
