Position Summary
The SMAC Oversight Senior Manager provides strategic oversight of SMAC operations, ensuring compliance, risk mitigation, and successful implementation of requirements across all functional areas. This role partners with internal teams and external delegates to monitor performance and resolve operational issues.

  • Oversight & Governance: Monitor SMAC processes and ensure adherence to CMS and state requirements; identify risks and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Convene and manage work teams to drive objectives and resolve operational issues; oversee escalation processes.
  • Performance Monitoring: Track metrics related to SMAC implementation, including timeliness, quality, and compliance; review performance data and provide feedback.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Act as liaison between SMAC team, functional owners, and market leads; foster collaboration and accountability.
  • Process Improvement: Evaluate workflows and recommend enhancements to improve efficiency and compliance.
  • Reporting & Communication: Deliver oversight reports to leadership; ensure transparency in progress and challenges.



Required Qualifications

  • At least 5 years of CMS compliance and DSNP/MMP integration requirements.
  • Proven experience in healthcare compliance, contract management, or operational oversight.
  • Strong leadership and facilitation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities under strict deadlines.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in a closely related field or an equivalent combination of formal education and recent, related experience

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$67,900.00 - $199,144.00


This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.  The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.  This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.  This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
