This position is contingent on a contract award.

This position requires a Top Secret with SCI polygraph clearance.

Must reside in the Washington DC/Metro Area.

The Marriage and Family Counselor will provide counseling service in support of a Government Intelligence Customer. Providing health, safety, and related services that directly support the intelligence mission and improve the well-being of the customer's workforce domestically who are operating in a fast moving and high stress environment. This effort will be responsible for a wide range of activities designed to protect the safety and health of the customer's employees, to include, but not limited to a variety of training and health promotion activities, in-person fitness classes, a pharmacy program, allergy, and condition maintenance programs, and/or surge vaccine support.
  • Provides non-medical, counseling directly to personnel including assessment, brief counseling and consultation, action planning, referral to resources (assuring linkage as appropriate), and follow-up as indicated.

  • Provides counseling and mental health services in the marital and family context with duties which include, but are not limited to evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of mental illness and other psychological issues.

  • Maintains complete, accurate, and current records of all clinical services rendered, including initial evaluations, progress notes, summary notes and all other necessary documentation.

  • Provides guidance and mediation to help address issues within family unit.

  • Implements new processes, policies, or standards as needed and in conjunction with customer’s needs.

  • Consults with management and other medical staff as needed.

  • Develops and implements programs for group therapy sessions and workshops.

  • Manages duty to warn and restricted reporting situations according to protocol.

  • Maintains current awareness of developments in relevant fields.

  • All other duties as assigned.

Other Job Requirements

Responsibilities

Masters degree in counseling, counseling psychology, community counseling, or social work.

Must have licensure to work at an independent level. Active professional license to conduct marriage and family counseling from one of the 50 states or DC.

3+ years of experience as a Marriage and Family Counselor.

Experience providing behavioral health support to military, intelligence and/or federal communities.

Top Secret with SCI polygraph clearance OR candidates that are willing to go through the process of obtaining the clearance may be considered.

Experience with training psychological, behavioral, and mental issues related to families or marriage.

Salary Range

Salary Minimum:

$58,440

Salary Maximum:

$93,500

This information reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Actual pay will be adjusted based on an individual's skills, experience, education, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
