Job Description Summary

The Master Production Scheduler is responsible for developing and maintaining the master production schedule to optimize manufacturing operations, balance capacity with demand, and ensure on-time delivery of products. This role serves as the central coordination point between Sales, Production, Planning, and Logistics functions. This position is based in Bandung and operates within a Bonded Zone (Kawasan Berikat), requiring close alignment between production planning and regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience in Bonded Zone operations and a strong understanding of Customs / Bea Cukai regulations, enabling seamless coordination across material control, import–export processes, and manufacturing execution while ensuring full compliance with bonded facility requirements.

Job Description

Own the Production Schedule

  • Build and maintain the Master Production Schedule (MPS) that keeps the factory running smoothly
  • Balance demand and capacity across multiple production lines
  • Spot bottlenecks early and fix them before they become problems

Plan, Analyze & Improve

  • Lead monthly S&OP and S&OE meetings
  • Track key metrics: on-time delivery, budget attainment, and COGS
  • Develop contingency plans when demand shifts or supply chains are disrupted

Connect the Teams

  • Work closely with Operations, Warehouse, Logistics, and Sales to keep everyone aligned
  • Coordinate import/export documentation and bonded zone compliance
  • Support customs audits and maintain strong relationships with customs officials

Lead a Team

  • Mentor and guide the Planning Controller
  • Set priorities, delegate effectively, and support team development

Drive Continuous Improvement

  • Lead Lean and Kaizen initiatives to make scheduling faster and more reliable
  • Improve Bonded Zone Inventory systems and inventory movement flows across the facility

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, or related field
  • 5–8 years in production planning/scheduling
  • 3+ years in a supervisory or lead role
  • Strong knowledge of ERP/MRP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar), production scheduling, and capacity planning
  • Familiarity with Bonded Zone operations and Bea Cukai regulations
