Who We're Looking For

We are currently looking to hire a Certified Veterinary Technician to join our team! The ideal candidate will be a dependable, detail-oriented team player who loves cats and being part of a fun, supportive team. They will have experience rooming patients, surgical assisting experience and knowledge of equipment used, drawing blood and running bloodwork, knowledge of x-rays and proper positioning, experience with proper feline handling and restraint, understanding the importance of client education, and being a positive and motivating team member.

Requirements:

• Certified or Licenced Veterinary Technician (preferred)
• Knowledge of industry tools and equipment
• Passion for working with cats and their owners
• Blood draws (cephalic, saphenous, and jugular)
• Placing IV catheters
• Digital radiology including positioning.
• Dentistry (digital x-rays, scaling, polishing)
• Anesthesia (induction, intubation, monitoring, aseptic technique)
• Laboratory skills such as ear and fecal cytology; HM5; Vetscan; Sedivue
• Understands the importance of excellent communication and organizational skills
