We are looking for a Solution Consultant to join our high-performing, double-digit sales growth Mid-Sized Law Firm segment. This position will allow you to become an expert for our highest growth products such as WestLaw, Practical Law, and Co-Counsel, among others. This role is critical to our sales process for these high-growth products as you educate customers on our solutions and play a key part in customer events, user groups and marketing initiatives by speaking, demonstrating, and providing confident and detailed expertise regarding our solutions.

About the Role:

In this opportunity as a Solutions Consultant, you will:

  • Align closely with the product and customer teams to understand and articulate the value of our products to prospective and current customers

  • Work with prospects in a sales process to demonstrate solutions and features

  • Utilize discovery to identify and build out new enablement and adoption pathways for our products

  • Regularly speak at industry events and key meetings by presenting solutions and demos to prospects at all levels

  • Contribute to thought leadership and product marketing initiatives by regularly sharing customer insights, competitive intelligence and market knowledge

About You:

You’re a fit for the role of Solutions Consultant if your background includes:

  • 8-10+ years’ legal industry experience with a background using or implementing legal software or content applications to drive efficiency.  Examples of experience could include legal technologist/engineer, lawyer, legal project manager, legal operations manager, or similar role

  • Bachelors’ degree preferred, or equivalent experience

  • Excellent presenter and communicator who is articulate, passionate, and knowledgeable with the ability to evangelize our products

  • Creative thinker with an understanding of relevant industry technologies and the ability to design solutions to solve complex legal process problems

  • Experience being part of a sales cycle and comfortable working with prospects, engaging with clients at Partner or C-Level and with front-line users and administrators

  • Experience driving adoption of collaboration in transaction management, project management, legal intake, legal spend management, matter management and document or content management solutions preferred

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, start-up environment with a real passion for technology and product innovation

  • Desire to work in an open, collaborative environment with a team of creative and innovative people that are passionate about what they do

  • Passionate about technology and the ability to convince clients about the benefits of digital transformation and new ways of working

Thomson Reuters complies with local laws that require upfront disclosure of the expected pay range for a position. The location(s) for this role include one or more of the following metro locations: Los Angeles, New York City, San Francisco, Washington, DC. The target total cash compensation range for the role in any of those locations is $111,700 - $207,400. The location(s) for this role include one or more of the following states: CA, CO, CT, IL, NV, TX, WA and/or remote. The target total cash compensation range for the role in any of those locations is $101,500 - $188,500. The target total cash compensation range in other locations may vary. This is inclusive of both base pay and any target sales incentive. Pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual’s knowledge, skills and experience with consideration given to internal equity. Base pay and any target sales incentive are part of a comprehensive Total Reward program which also includes flexible and supportive benefits and other wellbeing programs.
