THE ROLE: TEMPORARY INFLUENCER MARKETING ASSOCIATE
The OLLY team is looking for an ambitious and highly motivated individual to join our team! The Influencer Marketing Associate will be a key support role to the marketing team, and report directly to our Senior Influencer & PR Manager. This role will have the opportunity to expand OLLY’s current influencer program with fresh ideas, new partners and creative thinking.
Gifting & mailers
- Responsible for getting product out to influencers and OLLY fans on a monthly basis.
- Support creation of seasonal mailers; offering ideas and management of outside agency production.
- Regularly research and share influencers/creators to expand mailer list to; potential to handle outreach as well.
- Support product requests for events, inbound inquiries, gift bags, etc., maintaining a high-level of organization and proactiveness.
Influencer & Events
- Keep up with identifying new influencers/creators that align with the overall brand positioning & ecommerce/retail goals and ensure a diverse pool of creators
- Support in-person content creation at events by capturing behind the scenes content, interview partners and relationship building
- Support invite list reviews, researching and offering partner ideas for consideration
Content
- Act as first review for all influencer content, identifying edits and room for improvements; partner with Regulatory Affairs team to ensure all product guidelines are met
- Collaborate with the Senior Manager and agency partners to pitch creative ideas for influencers and move from concept to execution, driving online engagement with social media audiences
- Draft brand messaging for influencer content creation
- Stay on top of product messaging and claims, getting relevant updates to all parties as needed
- Work with cross functional partners to support partnerships, organic social and paid marketing
CAPABILITIES + SKILLS REQUIRED
- 1-3 year of relevant work experience in social media, influencer marketing or PR (can be a mix of internships).
- A strong understanding of social media channels and interest in the social media landscape (new channels, features, content types, etc.)
- Highly collaborative and able to work with a diverse set of cross-functional partners
- Creative thinker naturally inclined to bring new ideas
- An adaptable go-getter who jumps on new opportunities and has a natural aptitude for collaboration
- Extremely organized and proactive communicator
- Preference for experience with influencer or social media metrics (impressions, engagement, etc.)
- Preference for experience with brand messaging
THE DETAILS
LOCATION: San Francisco - Hybrid work schedule
HOURS: 25 hours/ week, 12-month temporary position
MANAGER: PR + Influencer Manager
The pay range for this position is $35-40/hour dependent on experience.
