Summary: As a Software Development Engineer, you will analyze, design, code, and test multiple components of application code across one or more clients. You will perform maintenance, enhancements, and/or development work in a dynamic environment. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to perform independently and become an SME. - Required active participation/contribution in team discussions. - Contribute in providing solutions to work-related problems. - Collaborate with team members to analyze, design, and develop software solutions. - Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices. - Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers. - Troubleshoot and debug software applications to resolve issues. - Stay updated on emerging technologies and trends in software development. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Apache Hadoop. - Strong understanding of distributed computing principles. - Experience with big data processing frameworks like MapReduce and Spark. - Knowledge of Hadoop ecosystem components like HDFS, YARN, and Hive. - Hands-on experience in designing and implementing scalable data pipelines. Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in Apache Hadoop. - This position is based at our Chennai office. - A 15 years full-time education is required.
