The Learning & Culture (L&C) organization supports the creation, curation, and deployment of end-to-end learning solutions to increase organizational and employee success. The Learning Advisory (LA) Group Manager is a strategic Human Resources professional responsible for identifying the Learning needs of their coverage area and determining the appropriate solution in alignment with the Learning & Culture Menu of Services. This role manages a team of Learning Professionals, and requires a comprehensive understanding of the business’ priorities, goals, and strategy. The role also works in close partnership with key business and HR stakeholders to deliver an integrated strategy.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, execute, and market a Learning strategy that supports global functions, product and/or country regulatory priorities, leverages enterprise solutions, and drives performance improvement
  • Conduct root cause and gap analyses to identify opportunities and appropriate solutions
  • Serve as a trusted partner and consultant to senior stakeholders in the coverage area
  • Advises and ensures that learning products developed within the coverage area comply with standards and policies; where applicable, work with SMEs/originators outside of L&C to navigate Learning governance
  • Measure the effectiveness and success of training interventions, and communicate impact to stakeholders
  • Manage the learning budget for coverage area
  • Collaborate with peers in L&C and across HR to provide an integrated and consistent experience for partners and stakeholders
  • Follow latest external market trends and anticipate their impact on future capability requirements for function
  • Support partners in adhering to best practices and navigating Learning governance
  • Manage a team of Learning Professionals, promoting a positive team culture and supporting career development through ongoing and direct feedback, stretch assignments and exposure opportunities
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience in Learning
  • Key capabilities for this role include consulting, applying adult learning theory, developing business acumen, facilitation, measuring success and impact of Learning strategy, and project management skills
  • Must possess leadership, organizational design and talent development skills and to ensure appropriate staffing and organizational structures are in place for their focus area
  • Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven ability to use data to tell a story
  • Self-motivated and detail oriented
  • Proven influencing and relationship management skills
  • Proactive leadership and motivational skills

Education:

  • Bachelor’s/University degree, Master’s degree preferred or equivalent experience

Primary Location Full Time Salary Range:

$119,680.00 - $179,520.00
