The Project Management Vice President role will be responsible for supporting and overseeing strategic planning, project management, new product and new business implementation, business analysis, outsourcing program management, and management reporting for State Street Trust and Banking Co., Ltd. (“SSTB”).
The Project Management Vice President will support SSTB Management to execute the Company’s strategic priorities and ensure that key initiatives, projects, new products, and business changes are appropriately planned, governed, prioritized, implemented, monitored, and reported. In doing so, the role will coordinate across SSTB Management, client-facing divisions, business units, support functions, regional and global stakeholders, and State Street group companies to ensure effective execution and alignment with corporate strategy, regulatory expectations, internal governance requirements, and business objectives.
The Project Management Vice President must demonstrate strong project management experience, business analysis capability, strategic planning skills, stakeholder management, organizational discipline, and familiarity with the financial services industry. Strong communication, coordination, and leadership skills are also essential to build effective partnerships across SSTB, regional and global teams, and relevant governance forums.
The Project Management Vice President will be part of the Business Strategy & Planning Department (“BS&P”) and will support SSTB Management in driving the Company’s strategic agenda, business transformation, project execution, new product management, and business continuity-related initiatives.
This role is important because BS&P is responsible for matters concerning the Company’s strategic plan as well as management of projects, new products, clients, and business continuity planning. The role will help ensure that strategic initiatives and projects are appropriately governed, prioritized, implemented, and reported to management, while supporting business units in developing business cases, defining requirements, and executing new business or operational changes in a controlled and effective manner.
