Threat Intelligence Analyst (Fraud)

What You’ll do:
As a Threat Intelligence Analyst, you will help Information Security with critical intelligence support, training, the company’s background vetting program, help manage an intelligence program, and support offensive security and employee trust initiatives.
As a Threat Intelligence Analyst you will:
Support the Insider Threat and other company teams with intelligence related to financial fraud actors and associated Techniques, Tactics and Procedures (TTP’s)
Conduct risk assessments for onboarding employees based on background checks completed by a third party vendor
Provide general investigative expertise and analysis in support of a variety of initiatives for the company
Write and brief reports as directed; create training curriculum on topics involving threats and security issues
Establish cross functional partnerships with a variety of stakeholders such as Corporate Security and Threat Disruption
Respond to RFIs from partners and use expertise in OSINT techniques
Conduct investigations into internal and external security incidents and threat actors as directed
Conduct online threat actor engagement
Who You are:
You care about security and building a secure environment for the people using X everyday. You are curious, comfortable digging into the details, have experience with the tools of the trade, and are eager to help others protect our systems. Ideally, you have many of the following (but need not have all):
4 year degree in intelligence, political science, international relations, information security, information systems, criminal justice, forensic accounting, computer science or a related field
Certifications and experience in financial fraud (such as CFE, CAMS, CFCI), blockchain investigative analysis, and cryptocurrency related fraud and investigations
1-3 years experience conducting Threat Analysis & OSINT for a private sector or government agency with a global presence and experience dealing with adversarial nation state intelligence agencies and criminal actors
Experience conducting online investigations and litigation support
OSINT certifications such as government courses (FBI OS101, etc) or commercial certifications and training
Cybersecurity certifications or significant cybersecurity experience
Interviewing skills and experience is also a plus
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills - you will be conducting briefings and cross functional conversations daily
Some knowledge in coding and writing detections is a plus
