Job Description:

TD IT Storage Delivery & Support covers a number of functional disciplines or practice areas within a range of exercises and initiatives including requirements gathering, analysis & design specifications, code development, project management, test plans and execution, and operational standards implementation.

Our highly-coveted professionals are interspersed amongst many areas of focus: strategy & innovation, design & execution, maintenance ; our professionals demonstrate incredible commitment through their participation in a combination of delivery & support functions or activities, such as:

  • Evaluation of new services, features and functions over various technologies
  • implementation of platform design patterns and standards for infrastructure components across various platform domains;
  • Delivery Management functions over deployed technologies to co-ordinate and drive deployment- related activities;
  • Structured focus on project delivery to implement deliverables for their respective and specialized areas of infrastructure build and support; and
  • Specialized Services functions that provision infrastructure, security and services work for hardware assets etc.

About This Role

We are looking for someone who is ready, willing and able to research, analyze, design, deploy, configure, maintain, administer and provision TD's Storage services and systems. Job Requirements

What can you bring to TD? Share your credentials, but your relevant experience and knowledge can be just as likely to get our attention. It helps if you have:

  • University Degree  or Technical Certificate
  • 5-7 years relevant experience.
  • 4+ years of storage management experience in large enterprises, designing, building, administering and monitor storage infrastructure solutions and services.
  • 2+ years' experience with scripting in Ansible, PowerShell, Python.
  • Netapp NCDA certified is a must
  • Hitachi Content Platform, Azure AZ-900 certifications would be an asset.
  • Provide OnCall Support for the deployed infrastructure and Level 1 technical Team.
  • Advanced knowledge and experience with the Storage technology and its upstream/downstream interaction points across multiple platform domains and technology areas on both physical and virtualized environments.
  • Extensive project experience with Object and NAS technologies including solid understanding of storage provisioning, virtualization, and performance management
  • Advanced understanding of Storage Networking concepts:  SMB, NFS, object storage, SCSI, iSCSI, Fibre Channel data replication, virtualization, and distance extension technologies.
  • Experience with hardware and software storage products and solutions, including Netapp, Hitachi, EMC
  • Experience with storage systems in an integrated Unix/Windows environment, preferably with NetApp clustered systems, Data ONTAP OS, Hitachi Content Platform, and application data management experience
  • Experience with UNIX and Windows operating systems.
  • Good academic background (e.g., computer science, engineering).
  • Knowledge of specific domain or range of engineering frameworks, technology, tools, processes and procedures, as well as organizational issues .
  • Knowledge of business/organization, its standards, applications, systems, networks, innovation, design activities, best practices.
  • Knowledge and experience in own discipline; integrates knowledge of business and functional priorities.
  • Appetite for contributing within a complex and critical environment.
  • Well-honed, in-depth skills and broad knowledge to address complex problems and non-standard situations.
