BRIEF SUMMARY: Three-year fellowship for research training in cognitive neuroscience and neurorehabilitation.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Conduct research within a multidisciplinaty team of highly productive investigators studying rehabilitation research consistant with the mission of MRRI
2. Submit requests for external funding to support research activities
3. Disseminate results of research through publication and presentation at scientific meetings/conferences

Job Description

WORKING CONDITIONS: The Research Institute is a busy professional environment.  There is contact with departmental and hospital personnel as well as subjects and the public on a regular basis.  No exposure to hazardous environments other than those normally found in the day-to day operations of a research facility.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:  Requires long hours of sitting at a desk or computer.  May require traveling throughout the Research Institute and /or hospital many times during the day

EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:  Ph.D. in a discipline relevant to the topic of rehabilitation research is required.  Post-doctoral training, evidence of research productivity, and prior grant funding are highly desirable.
