Experience
- 7 years of experience in IT Architect or Lead Architecture Subject Matter Expert role
- Min 4 years of experience working with technology or application solutions in Utilities Industry, including design, implementation, support, and management
Qualifications
- MBA (Tier 1) or equivalent, Relevant accreditation for Utilities industry
Knowledge & Skill Requirements
- Exposure to multiple, diverse technical configurations, technologies, and hosting environments in Utilities Industry
- Deep knowledge of one technical domain, or experience working with multiple technical domains. Demonstrate an understanding of how the domains relate and can be assembled into comprehensive solutions that meet business and IT needs
- Knowledge of various aspects of the technology architecture, including current technology and vendors, emerging capabilities, best practices and patterns, cost models, and management and operating model considerations
- Knowledge of application hosting scenarios such as on-prem, cloud and hybrid deployments.
- Extensive experience in defining project and enterprise architecture for Utilities systems and applications
- Knowledge of emerging solutions, applications and technologies, critical thinking, and communication skills
- Skill in analysis and interpretation of large, complex IT/technology products and services
- Understanding and knowledge of IT standards and controls
- Knowledge with Cloud compute and migration capabilities
- Ability to work effectively with business and technical SMEs
- Excellent interpersonal skills in areas such as teamwork, facilitation, and negotiation
- Excellent analytical, technical, written, and verbal skills
- Excellent planning and organizational skills, and the ability to manage smaller efforts
- Knowledge of financial models and budgeting
- Ability to balance the North Star Vision with short-term tactical implications of individual decisions
- Motivated and driven by achieving long-term business outcomes
Additional Information

- Solution Architect experience in Utilities application such as SAP, Maximo, SCADA, Click, EAM, CRM, Contact center, MDM, Billing and Utility analytics Applications
- Experience in Architecture as a service delivery models.
- Enterprise Architecture / TOGAF Certification
- AWS / Azure/ Google Solution Architect Certification
