Summary

As a Senior Manager for Financial Data Reporting, you’ll effectively lead and coordinate our teams to support multiple business functions. You’ll manage a team of Business Analysts dedicated to bridging the gap between our business units' needs and the technical execution of business intelligence projects.
 

Leading the business analyst function, the Senior Manager for Financial Data Reporting helps accurately capture and document stakeholder priorities, and ensures that all parties understand the project's scope, objectives, and deliverables.

Responsibilities:

  • Contribution to strategic planning, direction, and goal setting for the team in collaboration with senior management
  • Collaboration with business analysts, strategy managers, and business partners to understand needs, partner on priorities, and provide value add data-centric solutions
  • Management of business intelligence analyst workstream to build and maintain an appropriate reporting pipeline and ensure delivery dates are achieved
  • Identification and streamlining of similar workstreams to create cohesion and eliminate duplicative efforts
  • Creating opportunities for self-service capabilities to allow for more flexibility for end-users
  • Identifying when an alternative solution is needed and alerting leadership quickly to meet required deadlines

Qualifications:

  • Planning and/or Project management experience and strong problem-solving skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Able to resolve conflicts or facilitate conflict resolution
  • Must be able to follow complex instructions, resolve conflicts or facilitate conflict resolution, and have strong organization/priority setting skills
  • Able to support various HR processes for associates in the department by interviewing and approving job applicants, conducting performance appraisals, approving salary adjustments, and overseeing associate coaching and disciplinary actions if appropriate
  • Must be able to communicate in a clear, concise, professional oral or written manner, to be understood by customers, clients, co-workers and other employees of the organization
  • Must be able to perform under pressure and stressful situations
  • Must be able to concentrate and demonstrate a capacity for learning technical concepts and adapting to new technologies quickly
  • Insurance industry experience preferred.

Annual Salary

$127,000.00 - $207,000.00

The above annual salary range is a general guideline. Multiple factors are taken into consideration to arrive at the final hourly rate/ annual salary to be offered to the selected candidate. Factors include, but are not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the role, the selected candidate’s work experience, education and training, the work location as well as market and business considerations.
